Sandra Galletti

Sandra Galletti is Assistant Director of MIT's Crisis Management & Business Resiliency and Advanced Business Resiliency programs. She is a multi-lingual executive with extensive international experience in business operations, business resiliency, and crisis management, particularly within banking and financial institutions.

She is also Director of Operations and Resilience at Tidona Comunicazione in Milan, Italy, where she oversees executive education programs focused on risk management and regulatory compliance for banks and financial institutions. In addition, she leads initiatives that support these institutions in preparing for and responding to crises, with a strong emphasis on operational risk. She brings more than 20 years of experience developing and managing advanced executive education programs.

Prior to her current roles, Sandra gained strategic and operational expertise at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles, where she worked on distribution strategy across more than 100 countries, managing the complexities of truly global operations. She also advised U.S. start-ups expanding into Brazil on legal and operational matters. This diverse background has shaped her comprehensive approach to crisis preparedness and cross-border operations.

Sandra earned her MBA from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and her law degree (equivalent to a U.S. Juris Doctor) from Mackenzie University in São Paulo, Brazil.

She also holds certificates in Crisis Management & Business Resiliency, Advanced Business Resiliency, and Strategy & Innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Certificate in Operational Risk Management from the American Bankers Association.

Her writing on crisis management, digital risk, and AI governance has been published in MIT Sloan Management Review, American Banker, and Crisis Response Journal.
