James P. Womack

James P. Womack is co-author of the best selling book, The Machine That Changed The World (with D. Jones and D. Roos), Free Press, 2007, which examined Toyota's lean design system; and Lean Thinking (with D. Jones), Free Press 2003. His Lean Enterprise Institute now works with a wide range of other corporations seeking to implement these ideas around the world.
