MIT Professional Education Adds New Wave of Emerging Technology Courses to Fall 2019 Program

• Ethics of AI: Safeguarding Humanity – October 24-25, 2019 – Learn to expertly navigate ethical challenges associated with AI development and implementation and explore ways to utilize AI to benefit your organization—and humankind. Instructors: Bernhardt L. Trout, Professor of Chemical Engineering at MIT and Stefanie Jegelka, an XConsortium Career Development Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT.
• Applied Deep Learning Boot Camp – November 13-14, 2019 – Receive intensive hands-on instruction on using deep learning tools to process data in different modalities, ranging from text, images, and graphs. Instructors: Regina Barzilay, Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT and member, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), and Tommi Jaakkola, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT and member, CSAIL.
